Frequently asked questions: Are plots available at Elmwood and Fairview Cemeteries? Yes Do you have a payment plan? No, not at this time. May opening and closing charges be paid in advance? No, since the fee is based on labor charges, it must be paid at the time of need. Is a burial liner or vault required? Yes, a top seal, polyurethane liner or upgraded concrete or steel vault. May we plant a tree? Memorial trees may be donated or purchased in designated areas approved by the Cemetery Manager. Please contact our office at 303- 655-2090 for specific information. May flowers be planted on plots? No, flowers may only be planted in potholes. Is a cremation urn permitted in the same plot with an existing burial? Yes, with written authorization from the Plot owner, and upon payment of opening and closing charges. Are mausoleums available? No, not at this time. Can I donate a bench? Yes, it will be placed as close as possible to the deceased, at the Cemetery Manager's discretion. Do you have a Spreading Garden? No, not at this time. How much time does the cemetery need in order to prepare for a burial? Two working days notice and the family will need to come in at that time to go over details and sign the contract. Are there plots available in the older sections of the cemeteries? No, we do not have plots for sale in those sections.
