MEMORIAL TREE PROGRAM Do you want to acknowledge the loss of a loved one, birth of a child, or celebrate a personal achievement or milestone?  The Memorial Tree Program enables Brighton citizens to donate trees to the city.  Trees may be planted in any park or trail that the Brighton Parks and Open Space Department takes care of.  The donator will be able to choose from a list of approved tree species which will be provided through the Brighton Forestry Department.  Most trees will cost the donator approximately $150.  The City forester will aid the donator in proper placement and selection of the trees.  The Forestry Department will plant and maintain the donated trees.  Plaques and signage of any kind will NOT be allowed to be placed next to the memorial trees however...  If you would like to donate a tree, or if you have had a memorial tree planted in Brighton in the past and would like to get your information on the exhibit, please call Kyle Sylvester, City Forester at [PHONE REDACTED] as soon as possible.
