MEMORIAL TREE PROGRAM Do you want to acknowledge the loss of a loved one, birth of a child, or celebrate a personal achievement or milestone? The Memorial Tree Program enables Brighton citizens to donate trees to the city. Trees may be planted in any park or trail that the Brighton Parks and Open Space Department takes care of. The donator will be able to choose from a list of approved tree species which will be provided through the Brighton Forestry Department. Most trees will cost the donator approximately $150. The City forester will aid the donator in proper placement and selection of the trees. The Forestry Department will plant and maintain the donated trees. Plaques and signage of any kind will NOT be allowed to be placed next to the memorial trees however... If you would like to donate a tree, or if you have had a memorial tree planted in Brighton in the past and would like to get your information on the exhibit, please call Kyle Sylvester, City Forester at [PHONE REDACTED] as soon as possible. A new memorial exhibit is located at the new city hall. The exhibit includes the following: Memorial designee Tree species planted Location of the tree (park) Date of Planting ---PAGE BREAK---
