Request for Bids Seefried & Hepworth Lane project The City of Blackfoot is seeking bids on a sewer main install project. The project is to install 1,200 feet of 12-inch SDR-35, 3 new manholes and 9 4-inch sewer service stubs to the edge of the roadway. All sewer installation shall conform with the most current edition of ISPWC, unless otherwise noted as a City of Blackfoot standard. All testing shall conform to ISPWC standards. Brief Description of project: Excavate down to existing 8” stub, approximately 9.3 feet deep. Verify invert prior to connection to existing sanitary sewer manhole. Remove existing 8” sanitary sewer, core drill manhole for 12” sewer line. Install 12-inch sewer line, manholes, and services. In addition, the city is seeking bids to pave the following, see Engineers Estimated values in Bid Documents. 1740 feet by 14 feet on Seefried Lane 1645 feet by 14 feet on Hepworth Lane 880 feet by 28 feet on Hepworth Lane All roads shall be excavated down and built back with a minimum of twelve inches of subbase, four inches of road base and 3 inches of plant mix pavement. Faulkner Construction will be re-paving the other 1/2 road widths on Seefried Lane and on Hepworth Lane, some coordination will be required.
