CITY OF BLACKFOOT BINGHAM COUNTY, IDAHO ORDINANCE # 2258 ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS BILL OF 2024-2025 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2024, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $32,591,274 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF BLACKFOOT, IDAHO FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Blackfoot, Bingham County, Idaho. Section 1: That the sum of $32,591,274 be, and the same is appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Blackfoot, Bingham County, Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024. Section 2: The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows: General Fund Administration $2,588,231 Police $4,817,426 Fire $2,304,075 Planning & Zoning $953,827 Total General Fund $10,633,558 Ambulance $1,865,485 Streets $2,476,893 Airport $338,427 Cemetery $253,644 Library $788,843 Parks & Recreation Parks & Recreation $630,589 Golf $847,273 Total Parks & Recreation Fund $1,477,863 Capital Improvement $112,360 Water $5,187,409 Sewer $7,178,814 Sanitation $2,118,084 Healthcare Reserve $129,895 Total Appropriations All Funds $32,591,274 ---PAGE BREAK--- Section 3: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of Blackfoot be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024. Section 4: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5: This ordinance shall take affect and be in full force upon its passage, approval, and publication in one issue of the Post Register, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Blackfoot, and official newspaper of the said City. PASSES under suspension of rules upon which a roll call vote was taken and duly enacted an Ordinance of the City of Blackfoot, Bingham County, Idaho at a convened meeting of the City of Blackfoot City Council held on the 6th day of August 2024.
