RESOLUTION 02-17937 A RESOLUTION TO AMMEND THE CITY OF BILLINGS FISCAL YEAR 2003 BUDGET TO ALLOW FOR COSTS OF THE BILLINGS OPERATION CENTER AND THE NEW ANIMAL SHELTER WHEREAS; The City has sold part of its Edward Street property to SYSCO Foods, Inc. and WHEREAS; Those facilities need to be replaced and WHEREAS; The fiscal year 2003 budget does not include appropriations to construct replacement facilities, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA: That the following appropriations be added to the fiscal year 2003 budget: Solid Waste Fund Transfer to Construction $1,858,495 Street Light Districts Transfer to Construction 198,614 Storm Water District Transfer to Construction 278,060 Motor Pool Fund Transfer to Construction 470,000 Billings Operation Center Transfers in 2,805,169 Construction Fund Debt Proceeds 6,600,000 Sale of Property 4,000,000 Grant Income 1,200,000 Expenditures 14,600,000 Transfers authorized from the Solid Waste, Street Light, Strom Water District and Motor Pool Funds are available from cash reserves. The balance of expenditures will come from sale of property, debt proceeds and grant income, in the amounts shown above. PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council this 9th day of December, 2002.
