TO: FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOARD THROUHG: PARMLY BILLINGS LIBRARY BOARD FROM: BILL COCHRAN, DIRECTOR JIM PETERS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR RE: REQUEST FOR FUNDING MEETING DATE: March 12, 2009 REQUEST Staff recommends requesting $400 from the Friends of the Library to sponsor a performance by the Celtic music group The Muses on Monday, June 22, 2009. BACKGOUND The Muses consist of two musicians from Colorado who specialize in Celtic music and instruments. They are doing a tour throughout Montana in June and we are hoping that they will perform at the Library under the sponsorship of the Friends of the Library.
