TO: PARMLY BILLINGS LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES FROM: DAVE WARD, CHAIR SUBJECT: FUNDING COMMITTEE REPORT MEETING DATE: MAY 8, 2008 The Funding Committee has not met, but at this point committee members have provided dates and times they would be available. Our first meeting is tentatively scheduled as a luncheon at the Library on May 14th. I have asked for brief presentations on historical aspects of bonding and mill levies for the library and related services, the library budgeting process, and the city’s capital improvement planning process as well. It will also be used as a foundation for a joint meeting with the Facilities Committee. This is brief, but at this time there is nothing further to report. I will provide something to you after this initial meeting in preparation for the joint committee meeting.
