TO: PARMLY BILLINGS LIBRARY BOARD MEMBERS FROM: NICKI BROCH, PRESIDENT, FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY RE: FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY REPORT MEETING DATE: JUNE 12, 2008 The Friends of the Library was awarded a $500.00 grant from the Foundation through Friends of Libraries USA for the purchase of Books For Babies. The installation of the new lighting in the kitchen area has been completed. Volunteers from the Friends of the Library will be conducting a patron survey during the week of June 9 – 14, to provide planning information for the Library and to help it meet state standards for public library accreditation.
