RESOLUTION NO. 02-17872 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF BILLINGS BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003 TO INCLUDE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF WADING POOLS OR SPRAY PARKS. WHEREAS, M.C.A. 7-6-406 provides that the City Council may amend the budget during the fiscal year by conducting public hearings at regularly scheduled meetings, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the budget for fiscal year 2003 to include construction and operation of wading pools and/or spray parks to be paid for by Special Improvement Districts and Park Maintenance Districts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA: Section 1: That the following budgets are hereby amended by adding the indicated amounts; Park Maintenance Districts Fund “Operating Expenses” $9,000 Special Improvement Districts Construction costs $450,000 Section 2: That monies required for the increased expenditures will come from CDBG funds ($50,000) AND From Special Assessments ($409,000).
