RESOLUTION 02 - 17865 A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO BILLINGS, MONTANA CITY CODE, ARTICLE 22-900: SALE OF CITY PROPERTY, DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE DISPOSED OF, DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE CITY TO DISPOSE OF THE PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING CITY OFFICIALS TO PROCEED. WHEREAS, the City of Billings owns and desires to dispose at public auction of the following public park parcels listed below. WHEREAS, the location of the parks to be disposed of is more particularly described as follows: 1. High Sierra. Public Park in Tract 6A, C/S 2017 4th Am. Less portion platted as High Sierra Subdivision First Filing, Section 17 Township 1N, Range 26 at End of Wicks Lane adjacent to High Sierra Park; and 2. Roth Subdivision Park. Lot 4, Block 2, Roth Sub 2nd Filing, located on the East Side of Beartooth Drive and the South Side of the Hi-Line Ditch; and 3. Smokey Sub Lot 1 and Lot 2. Smokey Sub 1-Lot 1 Park located along the BBWA Canal on the Access Street from Lake Elmo Road to Hilltop Drive; and 4. Beartooth School Park. C/S 1316 Tract 4 located on the North West Corner of the Beartooth Elementary School Lot; and 5. Racquet Club Heights Park. Racquet Club Heights Block 4, Lot 7 located on the East Side of Arlene Street South of Rimrock Road; and 6. Rolling Hills Park. Rolling Hills Ranchettes Park adjacent to Block 5; and 7. Hultgren Park. Galaxy Sub 5 (Hultgren Park) located South of Governors at Aries and Zodiac (undeveloped); and 8. Ramada Park 1 and 2. Pineview Sub BTWN Blocks 1 and 2; and Silverwood Sub (Park) located between Ramada Drive and Moreledge Street north of Rimrock Road; and ---PAGE BREAK--- 9. Sally Ann Park. Lake Hills Sub 25th Filing (Park – Sally Ann Park) located on Lake Heights Dr. North of Annandale Road (undeveloped area North of Lake Hills Golf Course); and 10. Madison Sub Park. Madison Sub (Park) located within the Ponderosa Acres Apartments at 1301 Industrial Ave.; and 11. Dokken Park. Town and Country Estates Sub (Park) Located at Town Lane and Country Lanes South of Rimrock Rd; and 12. Lutheran Park. Vista Heights Sub Block 2 (Lutheran Park) located between Lake Elmo Drive and Augusta Drive North of Wicks Lane. WHEREAS, the notice required by Section 22-902 of the Billings Montana City Code has been duly published and mailed; and WHEREAS, the public hearing required by Section 22-902 of the Billings Montana City Code was duly held on the 22nd day of July, 2002; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS: That the City staff is authorized to proceed with the sale of the subject properties described above under the requirements of Section 22- 902 of the Billings, Montana, City Code.
