TO: PARMLY BILLINGS LIBRARY BOARD MEMBERS FROM: NICKI BROCH, PRESIDENT, FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY RE: FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY REPORT MEETING DATE: JULY 10, 2008 The Friends of the Library has purchased some custom-made bookshelves from Barjon’s Book Store, which no longer needs them. These will be used in the book sale room and possibly in the Children’s Services area to mount the shadow box display created by Barbara Morrison in memory of her mother, Berta Morrison. The Friends will join Library staff at SummerFair July 12-13 to promote Library resources and services and Friends membership.
