A - 1 RESOLUTION NO. 02-17918 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO SAID CITY, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN BELOW, BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF BILLINGS PURSUANT TO TITLE 7, CHAPTER 2, PART 43, MONTANA CODE ANNOTATED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Billings has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Billings and the inhabitants of the below described contiguous territory that the boundaries of the City of Billings be extended to include said territory within the corporate limits of the City of Billings; and WHEREAS, the territory to be annexed is more particularly described as follows: Tract 1B of Certificate of Survey 1446 Amended (less the Interstate 90 right-of-way), and Block 1, Lot 4 of Cereus Subdivision both located in the Northeast ¼ Section 17, Township 1 South, Range 26 East, P.M.M., Yellowstone County, Montana. (#02-16) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. On September 23, 2002, the City Council of the City of Billings passed and adopted Resolution 02-17894 stating the intent of the City of Billings to consider annexation the above describe territory and fixing the date of October 15, 2002, for the question of annexation said property to the City of Billings. 2. All procedures as required under Montana Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 2, Part 43, have been duly and properly followed and taken.
