RESOLUTION NO. 08-18692 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING REVISION OF FEES FOR PURCHASE OF GRAVESITES, NICHES AND SETUP OF SERVICES AND EXPLANATION OF FEES IN THE CITY OF BILLINGS MOLINTVIEW CEMETERY. REPEALS RESOLUTIONS NO. 04-18158. NO. 01-17729 AND NO. 97-17192. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Billings, Montara, as follows: WHEREAS, all graves and niches sale price shall includc a thirty per cent (30%) perpetual care cost. The prices for graves and niches in the Cemetery are: e. A discount shall be issued, except in the mausoleum, when a tent is impractical to set up for a ffiallgroundburials'Theopening,closingandsetupforcremationsarrdinfantbr¡rial burials do not include a lowering device eratent, but do include artificial rurf,lgû and a stand for eithcr the baby casket or um. The fees for opening, closing and setups during normal business hours are: WHEREAS, the normal cemetery business hours for burial services arç from 9;00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. For burial services that start after 4:00 PM on Monday tlrough Friday or after 1l:00 AM on Saturda¡ a late ovedime fee will be charged. The late overtime fee will be charged in ten (10) minute ---PAGE BREAK--- intervals at the rate of $50.00 per ten-minute interval. The minimum late overtime charge is $50.00 and the maximum late overtime charge is $300.00. A Saturday morning overtime fee will be charged for burials scheduled between 9:00 AM and I l:00 AM and they are: WHEREAS, the Veteran Sections of the cemetery are special purpose areas. For that reason the city does not make a charge for the grave or niche space, but other charges are issued to compensate for opening, closing, setup, tent, curbing, engraving of the columbarium and flower container. A veteran's cremains may not be buried in a traditional fulI size veteran grave unless that said grave could not be used for a traditional burial with casket.
