RESOLUTION NO. O8-I 8679 A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COLINCIL OF BILLINGS, MONTANA, AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF COUNCIL CONTINENCY FI-INDS FOR BRANDING BILLINGS WHEREAS, a community effort called "Branding Billings" is attempting to create a unique identity for Billings that will contribute to economic developmeat and community pride; and WHEREAS, the City of Billings has been asked to contribute $2,000 to the effort to help match other groups' support; and WHEREAS, the funding source for the Branding Billings effort is thetåuncil Contingency Fund, the use of which requires a resolution of the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLINCIL OF BILLINGS, MONTANA, thAt it approves the pa¡nnent up to $2,000 from the Council Contingency Fund for its portion of the Branding Billings effort.
