RESOLUTION NO. 02-17860 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING PORTIONS OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002 – 2003 THAT WERE POSTPONED AT THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 24, 2002. WHEREAS, The City Council did adopt part of the proposed budget for fiscal year 2002 – 2003 on June 24, 2002, and WHEREAS, The City Council voted to postpone consideration of the remainder of the proposed budget to a special council meeting on July 1, 2002. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA: That the following items are hereby included in the final approved budget for fiscal year 2002 – 2003 in addition to those items approved on June 24, 2002: Classification & Compensation Study; $200,000 Facilities Manager Supervisor; 44,373 Baseball Batting Cage Operation; 42,315 Full time Position for Parks Maintenance Districts; 30,000 Downtown Billings Partnership budget items Civic Center Development; 60,000 Phase II of New Century Project; 105,000 Travel budget for consultant; 11,500 Phase II of the Defining Element; 38,000 Phase III of the Defining Element; 95,000 Traffic Calming Study for Montana Avenue 10,000 BSEDA Consulting Services; 35,000 Total Expenditure items $671,188 Proposed Increase in Street Maintenance Fees. $281,230 Total Revenue Items $281,230 PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council this 1st day of July 2002.
