RESOLUTION OB-18765 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW FARES TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY OF BILLINGS FOR TRANSIT SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE AVIATION AND TRANSIT DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Billings provides certain transit services to the public through the MET Transit system, which is operated by the Aviation and Transit Department; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City that the City provide said services and that the City Council establish new fares for said services; and WHEREAS, the City Council having duly considered the matter, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA: 1. FARES: The new fares to be charged by the City for Transit service provided by the MET Transit system are hereby established as follows: MET Transit One-Wav Fares: Adults/Children 6 Years & Older Senior Citizens (62 Years & Older) and Disabled Citizens Pre-School Under 6 Years Transfers 10-Ride Ticket Regular Pass Senior Citizens (62 Years & Older)and Disabled Pass Student Pass $1.25 ùU.CU Free Free $10.00 $22.00 $6.00 $15.00 4. 2. TERM OF FARES: Said fares shall continue in full force and effect until changed by the City Council by subsequent resolution. EFFECTIVE DATE: Said fees established shall be effective February 1,2009. REPEALER: All resolutions inconsistent herewith, including Resolution 91-16441, are hereby repealed.
