RESOLUTION 02-17855 A RESOLUTION TO MAKE FISCAL YEAR 02 ADJUSTMENTS APPROPRIATIONS PURSUANT TO M.C.A. 7-6-4236 AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING TRANSFERS AND REVISIONS WITHIN THE GENERAL CLASS OF SALARIES AND WAGES, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT AND CAPITAL OUTLAY. WHEREAS, M.C.A. 7-6-4236 provides that the City Council, upon proper resolution, adopted by said Council at a regular meeting and entered into its Minutes, may transfer or revise appropriations within the general class of salaries and wages, maintenance and support, and capital outlay, and WHEREAS, based upon an Annual Budget Review (FY 2001/2002), it is necessary to alter and change said appropriations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILLINGS, MONTANA: That the attached transfers or revisions are hereby adopted. Increase the budget in the EOC 911 Fund (Fund 225) to permit a transfer to the Public Safety Fund. Estimated $80,000 in 2001/2002 Fire Department budget. However, to comply with various outside parties the project went over budget. The 911 Advisory Board passed a motion to use $36,000 from 911 Funds to complete the project because of the importance of this tower. The request is to increase the 2001-2002 budget. • Expenditure increase $31,777. 2. Increase the budget in the Public Safety Fund (Police) (Fund 150). The Police Department has been providing security using off duty officer’s for the Conoco Refinery. The Police Department received corresponding revenues from Conoco to cover the increase in expenditures. This request is to increase the 2001-2002 expenditure budget. • Expenditure increase: $59,277
