TO: PARMLY BILLINGS LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES FROM: LESLIE MODROW, FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR RE: FOUNDATION REPORT MEETING DATE: December 11, 2008 • The Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Open House was nicely attended with many positive comments received. Thank you to Bill Cochran and the Library staff for their efforts in support of this event. • Foundation received $1,000 donation from Conoco Phillips • Year end appeal was sent out on December 3. • The Foundation hosted Jim Reno, John Ostlund, Carol Burton and Kathy Kelker at the December Lunch at the Library. The next Lunch is scheduled for February 5. • “Can We Talk”, scheduled for January 30. This civic dialogue workshop will be held at the MSU-B downtown campus and is been unwritten by Humanities Montana. The all day workshop will feature Pat Hughes, author of Gracious Space. The cost for this workshop is $20, which includes a copy of the book Gracious Space plus lunch.
