RESOLUTION NO. 03-17972 JOINT RESOLUTION OF PROPOSED RURAL SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS R.S.I.D. #691 and 691 MAINTENANCE (SUN VALLEY SUBDIVISION) WHEREAS, a Petition signed by more than sixty percent (60%) of the Freeholders of the proposed district has been submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for creation of a rural special improvement district (RSID) to provide for street improvements and for the maintenance of said streets; and, WHEREAS, the boundaries of the proposed district include property both in the City of Billings and Yellowstone County; and, WHEREAS, M.C.A. 7-12-2102(2) requires the passage of a joint resolution of city and county agreeing to the terms of the RSID before passage of the resolution of the intent to create an RSID; and, WHEREAS, the terms of the RSID are shown in “Attachment A” and the RSID boundary is shown in “Attachment and, WHEREAS, the one City lot contained within the RSID boundary has signed in favor of the proposed RSID. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Yellowstone County, Montana and the City Council of the City of Billings, Montana agree to terms proposed for the Rural Special Improvement Maintenance District: PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Yellowstone County, Montana, this 17th day of January, 2003.
