Consent Agenda - Friends of Parmly Billings Library – Library Trustees Board Meeting – 8/15/08 1. The October Book Sale is scheduled for 16 October – 19 October. The Annual Meeting of the Corp. will take place 16 October, 6:00 – 6:30. The sale will begin at 6:30 for members only. 2. The tentative budget for the Books for Babies/Books and Babies is $20,263.27. This program is scheduled to start between 1 Sept and 15 Sept, depending on Cindy Patterson’s schedule for the Books & Babies at the library. We are seeking a grant from NWEnergy for these programs. 3. The FOL has purchased shelving from Barjon’s Books in the amount of 1400.00. 4. The FOL volunteers helped staff the library booth at SummerFair. They provided tchotchkes for patrons and had sales of our books and bookbags of 300.00 5. The canvas bags are available for sale for 10.00. They feature the picture, “Sophie,” by Julie Atkins which was purchased for the Children’s Department by the Friends and the copyright for which Julie has generously donated to the Friends.
