To: Library Board From: Friends of the Library Board Subject: May Report Date: May 14, 2009 Our May 1-2, 2009 Book Sale was extremely successful. We exceeded last year's sale, though not by much. The total was $7198.98. This puts us well on the way, with our online and Book Nook sales to our goal of $40,000.00 this year. The Friends sponsored the May 6 concert by classical guitarist Peter Fletcher, including providing refreshments in the form of a guitar-shaped cake. This event was very successful, with approximately 80 people in attendance. Thank you for your support. Nicki Broch, Pres. FOPBL
