FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Rhonda Johnson, Public Information Officer, Big Horn County (406) 679-0572 Big Horn County Reports Two Newly-confirmed Cases of COVID-19 45 active cases HARDIN, MONTANA (July 10, 2020) – Big Horn County added two confirmed positive cases of COVID- 19 on Friday. One patient is a female in her 60’s; one is a male in his teens. One was and found through contact tracing from a previously-confirmed patient. One patient presented with when tested. Four persons are deceased. Of the 45 active cases, 41 patients are quarantining and recovering at home, and four patients are hospitalized. Masks are required when engaged in indoor activities, such as shopping. Masks are not necessary in the event that residents are outdoors and unlikely to come within six feet of other people, such as while taking advantage of our beautiful county, to work, recreate, or exercise. Tracking down contacts to a positive case (contact tracing) is one of the best tools public health can use to slow the spread of the virus.
