FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Rhonda Johnson, Public Information Officer, Big Horn County (406) 679-0572 Big Horn County Reports One Newly-confirmed Case of COVID-19 Four patients hospitalized HARDIN, MONTANA (June 29, 2020) – Big Horn County added one confirmed positive case of COVID- 19 on Monday morning. Three are deceased. Of the 29 active cases, 24 patients are quarantining and recovering at home, and four are currently hospitalized. Public health wants to remind all residents of Big Horn County of the best ways to prevent the transmission of this illness: stay home; wear a mask when in public; stay at least six feet away from other people; wash your hands thoroughly and often; clean and sanitize frequently-touched surfaces and items; and avoid travel out of the County if at all possible. And if you are feeling sick, do not go to work or leave your home; rather, contact your healthcare provider for guidance. Tracking down contacts to a positive case (contact tracing) is one of the best tools public health can use to slow the spread of the virus.
