Update on the New Library Building: The plans for the new Belgrade Library and Community Center are still on track and ready to move to the next phase of development. 45 Architecture has been working hard with the City of Belgrade behind the scenes to develop the plans, schematics, and details regarding the construction project. The design development phase is now complete, and work has begun developing the final drawing for bid day. The City anticipates a more detailed update with rendering images, floor plan, and updated pricing estimates to release in September. Martel Construction, the general contractor for the building project, is reviewing the plans and making sure it fits within the budget. The library is thrilled to be one step closer to expanding its resources and services and to opening a space that better fits the needs of the community. Breaking ground is still expected in the spring, and the building is scheduled to be completed in Fall 2024.
