Belgrade City Code Title 4, Chapter 6 allows for only two dogs per lot in the city limits of Belgrade. Dog licenses must be acquired by January 1 of each year and are only valid for that calendar year. Licenses will be deemed delinquent and subject to a citation after January 25. You may purchase your 2023 dog license beginning in December 2022. You may obtain your city dog license in person at the Belgrade City Hall, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Belgrade City Hall First Floor –Planning/Building Window 91 East Central Avenue Belgrade, Montana 59714 You may also register your dog by mail. The form for mail-in registration is located on the back of this letter. Please fill out this form and mail it to the City of Belgrade at the above address with documentation and fees. There is an additional one-dollar ($1.00) fee per license to cover return postage and handling fees for mail-in registrations. Checks are to be made payable to The City of Belgrade.
