When will spring be here? Will it be rainy or sunny? Will we have a lot of mud, or will it dry up quickly? What should we plant in the garden? What are we going to do this summer? The decisions are endless. I find my- self in two distinct worlds when it comes to making plans. There are the “Dave and Lisa” plans and then there are the “Senior Center” plans and sometimes the two worlds come together in a nice little package. For instance - we love to camp so we always look forward to the Senior Center camping trip. We like to explore and so when we plan an adventure for the Senior Center, we get to be part of that. With this in mind, here are a couple things for you to put on your calendar. Month of April: Hard Things to Talk About Month: More information in the next page. July 19-20, 2025: Charlie Russell Chew Choo: Cost $275.00 which covers the Din- ner Train Ticket, overnight double occupancy hotel accommodations at the Yogo Inn and transportation. Space is limited. Call the Center for more information or to sign up. This is for members only. First come first served. August 4-7, 2025: BSC Annual Camping Trip. More information coming soon. Watch the newsletter for more summer plans! April ---PAGE BREAK--- Hard Things to Talk About Month Some conversations are difficult to have, but we know they’re necessary. This month, we are focusing on making these tough discussions a little easier. We invite you to attend our upcoming workshops and encourage you to bring someone who can support you in mak- ing these important decisions. Our goal is to help start the conversations that matter most but are often the hardest to begin. Join us for a series of insightful workshops aimed at guiding you through essential life planning decisions. Come for one or for all. If you would like to come for lunch before the workshops, please call by 10:00 that day to sign up. You DO NOT need to sign up for the workshops. We need a temporary volunteer to help us clean the Center. Our usual cleaner is out with an injury, so until she returns, we could use some extra help twice a week. It does involve bending and little lifting and would probably take about an hour each time. I am also sure there will be some yummy treats from Dave included! Call the Center if you are interested in helping for a few weeks. [PHONE REDACTED] Spring Cleaning Day Friday, May 9, 2025 We will start at 9:00 am and work until we are done with the list! We will work both inside and outside. Lunch will be provided. Let us know if you will be coming and we will get you on the lunch list.
