Does the City expect to have curb-tight sidewalk? Yes, the City would like sidewalk and curb & gutter installed on both sides of Madison Ave. In the sections with a narrower right-of-way width, the City is open to installing curb-tight sidewalk. 2. Has the anticipated schedule for this project changed? The City is still aiming to start construction in the summer or fall of 2026 and finish construction in 2027. 3. Does the City anticipate any mid-block crossings? Yes, given the length of the corridor, at least once mid-block pedestrian crossing is anticipated. 4. What size of water and sewer mains are anticipated? The City anticipates in-kind replacements for the water and sewer mains. The water main may be up sized (from 8” to 10”) based on the City’s water modeling. The successful consultant will not be expected to do any water or sewer modeling. 5. Is the City open to considering any innovative or new pedestrian treatments? Yes, the City would be happy to consider innovative pedestrian treatments. The recently adopted Belgrade Safety Action Plan (SAP) includes potential pedestrian treatments in Appendix C: Pedestrian and Biking Facility Selection Guidance. The SAP can be accessed here:
