Guidelines for making a Pre-proposal presentation to the Bay County RESTORE Act Advisory Committee 2014-11-04 Re: Presentations on Pre-Proposals to the Bay County RESTORE committee Bay County RESTORE Act Advisory Committee meeting Wednesday, November 12, 1:30 pm CT. County Commission Chambers, 840 West 11th Street, Panama City, FL. To submitters of pre-proposals for Bay County RESTORE Act funds: Thank you for submitting a pre-proposal for Bay County RESTORE Act funds. We received 47 pre-proposals, requesting a total of $45.8 million; approximately $6 million is available. Submitters of pre-proposals for Bay County Gulf Coast Restoration Trust Fund (RESTORE) Direct Component (Pot 1) funds will have the opportunity to make a presentation to the RESTORE Act Advisory Committee at its November 12 meeting. Submitters are not required to make a presentation, but it could enhance the chance of a pre-proposal being selected. A maximum of five minutes is allotted per pre-proposal. Please send an email to and indicate whether you plan to make a presentation. Presenter It is the submitter’s choice as to who will make the pre-proposal presentation. Choose whomever you think will make the best presentation. We suggest you focus on the most important and relevant information, including information that was not included in the pre- proposal. Please be prepared to answer questions the Committee may have. Content In preparing your presentation, you may wish to review Bay County's Multi-Year Implementation Plan for RESTORE Direct Component funds. The RESTORE Act eligible activities, guiding principles for the Bay County RESTORE Act Advisory Committee, and the plan’s goals and objectives are especially pertinent. This information is accessible through links on the Pre-proposal web page The page also includes a description of the selection process. Presentation files Some presenters may wish to project an electronic file during their presentation. We can accommodate PowerPoint or pdf format files.
