BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS APPLICATION INFORMATION DEAR PETITIONER: Please read carefully and complete this form: In order to make an application to the Board you must mail in the following: 1. Completed Referral Sheet from the Planning Commission 2. Site plan or drawing of the property 3. Check or money order made payable to the Augusta-Richmond Board of Zoning Appeals in the amount of $100.00 NOTE: A doctor’s statement or other legal documents showing hardship are required for mobile home requests on a hardship basis. PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM AND MAIL YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE TO: Augusta-Richmond County Board of Zoning Appeals 507 Telfair Street Augusta, GA 30901 If you prefer an appointment call Ms. Pansy Josey at (706) 821-1850 between (9:00 A. M. and 12 Noon for a specific time. After your application is processed, you will be notified of the meeting date, time and place. You or your representative must attend this meeting to present you petition. A reminder notice will be mailed to you a few days prior to the meeting. The Board will take action on petitions regardless of your attendance or cancellations (after newspaper advertising is in place). If your petition is denied, you cannot reapply for the same parcel for one year unless the Board unanimously grants this privilege. For your information, State Law provides a thirty-day period for objectors to a Board decision to file an appeal from Superior Court.
