Guide to Arvadapermits.org Online access to inspecƟons, permits and projects in real Ɵme. Arvadapermits.org is a live view of current building acƟvity for the City of Arvada. As a user, you can research permits that have been issued, look up addresses within the City, review registered contractors and schedule inspecƟons on acƟve permits. A new online feature is the ability to review acƟve Community Development projects. Temporary Password: Scheduling InspecƟons When you are signed in as your public profile or as a contractor you will see permits available for inspecƟon on your dashboard. Select the InspecƟon Type and the date of the desired inspecƟon. Click add inspecƟon, if needed you can conƟnue to add inspec‐ Ɵons. Once you have added all of the inspecƟons, click submit. Contractor Access: In an internet browser go to arvadapermits.org. 1. Click on the down arrow next to Public and select Contractor 2. Select your contractor name from the drop down list 3. Enter your temporary password 4. Follow the prompts to change your password to a more personal phase. AŌer you log in you will be taken to the dash board and will be able to view all of your acƟve permits. 1 2 ---PAGE BREAK--- Canceling InspecƟons On your dashboard, you will see the inspecƟon scheduled under “My AcƟve InspecƟons”, click the red x next to the inspecƟon that you wish to cancel. InspecƟons can only be canceled before 7:00 a.m. on the day of the inspecƟon, if aŌer 7:00 a.m. please contact the front counter at 720‐898‐7620. RequesƟng a CO/TCO Once your project has reached the point of CO/TCO, re‐ quest a CO/TCO inspecƟon. The inspecƟon will be sent to the Building InspecƟon Division and will route your re‐ quest to the various divisions necessary to approve your project. Commercial projects require 5 days to be routed, and residenƟal projects require a 3 day noƟce before the CO/TCO will be issued. Tracking Progress on a Permit or a Project In arvadapermits.org, you have the ability to track all of the progress. From your dashboard, select the project or permit num‐ ber that you wish to review. The individual tabs will show informaƟon about the project/ permit.
