WEEKLY BRIEFS City of Arvada internal news May 1, 2023 Learn about the City’s traffic calming program The City is piloting a traffic calming program to study the W 57th Avenue corridor from Garrison Street to Upham Street and a section of Grandview Avenue from Independence Street to Garrison Street. Part of this study includes installing traffic circles, which are designed to help improve safety and connectivity along the corridor for people bicycling, walking and driving. With any new traffic feature can come some confusion on how to navigate the area. The Media Services team helped put together this video to explain traffic circles to people traveling through our city. Congratulations Class of 2023! Throughout the month of May, the Olde Town Water Tower will be illuminated in each high school color to celebrate this extraordinary achievement.
