Guide to Arvadapermits.org Online access to inspections, permits and projects in real time. Arvadapermits.org is a live view of current building activity for the City of Arvada. As a user, you can research permits that have been issued, look up addresses within the City, review registered contractors and schedule inspections on active permits. A new online feature is the ability to review active Community Development projects. Temporary Password: Scheduling Inspections When you are signed in as your public profile or as a contractor you will see permits available for inspection on your dashboard. Select the Inspection Type and the date of the desired inspection. Click add inspection, if needed you can continue to add inspec‐ tions. Once you have added all of the inspections, click submit. Contractor Access: In an internet browser go to arvadapermits.org. 1. Click on the down arrow next to Public and select Contractor 2. Select your contractor name from the drop down list 3. Enter your temporary password 4. Follow the prompts to change your password to a more personal phase. After you log in you will be taken to the dash board and will be able to view all of your active permits. 1 2 ---PAGE BREAK--- Canceling Inspections On your dashboard, you will see the inspection scheduled under “My Active Inspections”, click the red x next to the inspection that you wish to cancel. Inspections can only be canceled before 7:00 a.m. on the day of the inspection, if after 7:00 a.m. please contact the front counter at 720‐898‐7620. Requesting a CO/TCO Once your project has reached the point of CO/TCO, re‐ quest a CO/TCO inspection. The inspection will be sent to the Building Inspection Division and will route your re‐ quest to the various divisions necessary to approve your project. Commercial projects require 5 days to be routed, and residential projects require a 3 day notice before the CO/TCO will be issued. Tracking Progress on a Permit or a Project In arvadapermits.org, you have the ability to track all of the progress. From your dashboard, select the project or permit num‐ ber that you wish to review. The individual tabs will show information about the project/ permit.
