Initial Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of January 23, 2025. • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Implement the Board of Commissioners’ policies to acquire, market, and develop properties within the urban renewal district. • Lead Redevelopment Projects: Oversee complex real estate transactions and negotiate transformative development deals that align with AURA’s vision. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with developers, property owners, and local officials to navigate permitting, applications, and approvals. • Promote Arvada’s Potential: Market the district as a premier site for retail, residential, office, and commercial development. • Manage Financial Operations: Supervise budgets, bond issues, and debt management to ensure AURA’s financial health and project success. • Inspire Excellence: Lead a team of professional staff, fostering innovation and dedication in achieving AURA’s mission. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Governmental Affairs, or Finance (Master’s Degree preferred). • At least 10 years of combined experience in property development, urban redevelopment, economic development, real estate, or property management. • A strong background in financial and marketing strategies with significant government experience. • Expertise in urban renewal processes, real estate negotiations, and municipal operations. • Exceptional communication and organizational skills to manage multifaceted operations effectively.
