The City of Anaheim has identified the parkway in front of your property as a candidate for planting a free parkway tree. If you are interested in receiving a tree, please note the following and complete this application. Application Process/Planting Schedule: Street tree planting is performed throughout the year. Applications are processed as they are received. Due to the number of applications received, actual planting can take up to a year after an application is received. Tree Species: The designated species to be planted on each street is selected by the Public Works Operations Staff. Neighborhood identity, mature size of trees, width of the parkway (growing space), overhead utility lines, traffic concerns and species diversification are considered in selecting an appropriate species Tree Planting Locations: Planting locations are determined by many factors including underground utilities (gas, water, and sewer), streetlights, overhead wires and driveway locations. During the site inspection, planting locations will be marked with green paint marks.
