Oak Canyon Nature Center Wedding FAQ’s Can I hold a reception at Oak Canyon? Oak Canyon is a ceremony only venue. Serving any type of food is prohibited. I have elderly and/or disabled guests. How can they get to the ceremony site safely? OCNC Staff are happy to pick up your elderly/disabled guests at the parking lot and bring them to the ceremony site in our City vehicle. Is alcohol allowed? Oak Canyon Nature Center is a public park and adheres to the City of Anaheim’s no alcohol policy as stated in Municipal Code 13.08.020.200. Can I have candles at my event? There are no open flames of any kind allowed due to the fire risk. How much do I need to pay to reserve my wedding date? If you are an Anaheim resident, you will pay $837.00, plus a refundable security deposit of $144.00. If you are not a resident of Anaheim, you will pay $906.00 plus the refundable security deposit of $144.00. All fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. How can I keep my dress from getting dirty? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your dress will not get dirt on it. This is a natural, unimproved park and the dirt is part of the rustic atmosphere. We are not able to transport the bride or the bridal party from the parking lot for purposes of keeping their clothing clean. Will the park be closed during my ceremony?
