Listed below is a summary of the new requirements for residential permits issued by the City of Anaheim. Please note there are also new requirements for non-residential permits. The California Energy Commission has all regulations, manuals, and forms available online at: http://www.energy.ca.gov/title24/2008standards. Project Type New Required Documents and Processes Water Heater installations CF-1R –ALT – at permit issuance MF-1R – at permit issuance CF-6R-MECH-01 – during field inspection Re-roofs CF-1R –ALT – at permit issuance MF-1R – at permit issuance CF-6R-ENV-01 – during field inspection (for Cool Roofs only) HVAC replacements** CF-1R –ALT – at permit issuance MF-1R – at permit issuance CF-6R-MECH-04 andCF-6R-MECH-25HERS – during field inspection HERS rater to verify unit’s refrigerant charge measurement (RCM) on a CF-4R-MECH-25 - prior to scheduling final inspection Window replacements CF-1R –ALT – at permit issuance MF-1R – at permit issuance CF-6R-ENV-01 – during field inspection Envelope (any opening to an exterior wall) CF-1R –ALT – at permit issuance MF-1R – at permit issuance CF-6R-ENV-01 – during field inspection Please make sure you have the required documents complete when you come to apply for a permit. Without these forms, we will not be able to process your permit the same day. **Following the issuance of any HVAC replacement permits, you will need to hire a HERS rater to test the unit before scheduling a final inspection with the City of Anaheim Building Division.
