City of Anaheim CONSTRUCTION NOTICE PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT WHERE: Brookhurst Street Improvements LIMITS: From Katella Avenue to Ball Road BEGINS: September 2013 COMPLETION: September 2014 TYPE OF WORK: Consists of roadway widening and paving, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, sound walls, driveways, drainage improvements, traffic signal improvements, landscaping and irrigation, utility improvements TRAFFIC IMPACT: During construction there will be Traffic Lane Closures; therefore, traffic disruption shall be expected PARKING: “NO-PARKING” signs will be posted in advance to restrict parking in construction zones. Please adhere to the dates and hours on the posted no parking signs. PEDESTRIAN ACCESS: Please note that there will be portions of sidewalk closed for reconstruction; so please use caution and obey all detour notices as well as traffic control signs in your neighborhood. DRIVEWAY ACCESS: Every effort will be made to keep driveways open at all times, but there will be times when driveways will be temporarily inaccessible due to concrete and pavement reconstruction in front of your driveway.
