City of Anaheim Department of Public Works RIGHT-OF-WAY CONSTRUCTION PERMIT Construction and other work within a public right-of-way (street, alley) and/or easement requires an approved plan and Right-of-Way Construction Permit per Chapter 12.12 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. The following items are required to obtain a Right-of-Way Construction Permit: 1. Approved construction plans and traffic control plans for work on arterial streets. Allow five days for traffic division review and approval. 2. Name of the contractor who will be performing the work. The contractor must be licensed by the State of California and have a valid City of Anaheim business license. Homeowners may perform their own work for sidewalk, driveway approaches and curb drains. 3. Estimated start date and completion date. 4. Permit fee Obtain the permit at the Public Works Department, Subdivision Services Counter at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard on the 2nd floor. Please call (714) 765-5176 if you need more information
