While the crew was out making the repairs this morning they talked to Madeline's mother. The Mom explained that Madeline came to her and said “Mommy we need to write the President to get our sidewalk fixed.” The Mom said “No Madeline, we need to write the City and ask them to fix it.” Coincidentally, it is Madeline's birthday today and the family was so excited the Concrete Crew made the repairs on her birthday. On their own, the crew signed a copy of the letter thanking Madeline for bringing the sidewalk to our attention and attached $7 to the letter because today is her 7th birthday.
