STORM DRAINAGE MASTER PLAN PROGRAM The Department of Public Works has an ongoing storm drainage master planning program for eight primary storm drainage tributary areas in the City. These tributary areas flow storm water into the East Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel, Anaheim-Barber City Channel, Stanton Channel, Carbon Creek Channel, Moody Channel, Fullerton Channel, North & West Santa Ana River and South & East Santa Ana River. STUDY SCHEDULE Master Plan for Tributary Areas to Completed/Adopted in East Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel March 2006 Stanton Channel February 2008 Anaheim-Barber City Channel October 2009 Carbon Creek Channel October 2010 Fullerton Channel October 2010 Moody Channel October 2010 North & West Santa Ana River 2010 - 2012 South & East Santa Ana River 2012 - 2014 The Master Plan of Storm Drainage for North - West Santa Ana River Tributary Areas will identify storm drainage system needs within the study area and recommend the necessary improvements. These needs are compiled and programmed in future capital improvement programs and as conditions of development. In addition, the study includes a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for applicable areas between Atwood Channel and East Richfield Channel and north of Orangethorpe Avenue. • Tentative Study Schedule for: o Master Plan of Storm Drainage for North-West Santa River Tributary Area: Request For Proposal: Aug 2010 – Sep 2010 Consultant Selection: Oct 2010 – Nov 2010 Master Plan Study: Dec 2010 – Dec 2012 o LOMR Application to FEMA : LOMR Study/App: Dec 2010 – June 2012 FEMA Review: 3-6 months once application is complete
