G:\PHA Plan Public Notice 2014.DOC ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY PUBLIC NOTICE Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 requires that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) prepare a Five-Year Plan and an Annual Plan. The purpose of these plans is to provide a comprehensive guide to PHA policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals. The Five-Year Plan describes the mission of the PHA and the PHA's long-range goals and objectives for achieving its mission over the subsequent five years. The Annual Plan provides details about the PHA’s immediate operations, program participants, programs, and services, and the PHA’s strategy of handling operational concerns, residents’ concerns and needs, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year. The 5-Year Plan for fiscal years 2010-2014 was submitted to HUD by Anaheim Housing Authority in April 2010 and approved by HUD May 2010. As required by the Act, Anaheim Housing Authority is making a draft of the Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2014, along with required attachments and documents related to the plans, available to the public at least 45 days prior to the public hearing which will be held to receive input on the plan (date and location of hearing listed below). The Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2014 will be available for review and inspection from January 29, 2014 through March 14, 2014, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at: Anaheim West Tower 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Second Floor Anaheim, CA 92805 The Anaheim Housing and Community Development Commission will hold a Public Hearing regarding the FY 2013 Annual Plan on March 19, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at: Anaheim West Tower 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Tenth Floor Anaheim, CA 92805 Members of the public are invited to attend this meeting.
