The above schedule covers the most common and straight forward permit types for new and addition projects. Fees for projects outside of the listed classifications/occupancies shall be estimated by the Building Official based on degree of complexity and size. In addition, the Building Official or Planning Director may require a specific amount into a Building Division Depositor's Trust Fund {DTF) account in advance of the Building Division processing a request for regulated activities. These projects will be processed in accordance with procedures outlined in Resolution No. 2018-074 5. Where no fee is specified or there is an unusual circumstance, that fee shall be determined by the Building Official or Planning and Building Director and/or as specified in the Resolution No. 2018- 074 Exhibit A. 6. Valuation for purposes of reporting shall be set on the basis of the International Code Council (ICC) published guidelines or the Orange County Assessor Valuator Schedule. If ICBO data is not available, appeals concerning valuation may be heard and determined by the Building Official or Planning and Building Director.
