ALPINE COUNTY FALL 2019 BIOMASS (Burn) PILE AT TURTLE ROCK PARK The Biomass (Burn) Pile is held for Alpine County residents free of charge. This event is provided by Alpine County Community Development in cooperation with Eastern Alpine Fire / Rescue and Alpine Fire Safe Council. Drop off will be on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, SEPTEMBER 14 through Sunday, OCTOBER 20, weather permitting. Accepted Materials: Natural vegetation, shrubs, branches, limbs, pine needles, grasses, leaves The drop off area is divided into two piles one for mixed vegetation and the other for pine needles/grasses/leaves. Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials, which contributes to cost savings.
