A ALPINE COUNTY UNIFIED COMMAND DATE: January 11, 2022 RE: COVID-19 County Facility Closures FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: DUE TO THE INCREASED TRANSMISSIBILITY OF THE COVID-19 OMICRON VARIANT, ALPINE COUNTY FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY JANUARY 12, 2022. ALPINE COUNTY FACILITIES WILL TENTATIVELY REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON FEBRUARY 1, 2022. In an abundance of caution, Alpine County will close all Alpine County Facilities to the public effective Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Mandated County services will still be delivered during this time. All public meetings have been moved to virtual during this time. During the closure, Alpine County staff will still be available for emergency response. The following contacts should be utilized during the closure to reach specific departments.
