NOTICE OF VACANCIES ALPINE COUNTY BOARD OF APPEALS (BUILDING CODE DISPUTES) Notice is hereby given that the Alpine County Board of Supervisors is requesting applications for appointment to the Alpine County Board of Appeals (Building Code Disputes). Said appointment(s) shall fill: Engineer to fill term ending January 3. 2022 Contractor members; two terms ending January 3, 2022 and one term ending January 2, 2023 Public member to fill term ending January 2, 2023 Alternate member to fill term ending January 3, 2022 The purpose of the board is to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the building official relative to the interpretation of the Uniform Building Code. Applicants should represent members of construction and/or the engineering field, and be knowledgeable of matters controlled by the building codes, including being licensed by the state in their respective field. County residency required. The Alpine County Clerk will accept applications until sufficient applications are received to fill the existing vacancies. Appointments will be made at a regular meeting of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors.
