Notice of Vacancy HISTORICAL RECORDS COMMISSION Notice is hereby given that the Alpine County Board of Supervisors is requesting applications for public appointment to the Alpine County Historical Records Commission. The appointment is for one vacant public member position for the term 01/01/2021- 12/31/2024. The purpose of the commission is to foster and promote the preservation of historical records. The commission is a five-member board composed of the County Clerk or his/her designate, the County Librarian or his/her designate, the County Museum Director or his/her designee and two additional public members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Applications for public members will be accepted by the Alpine County Clerk until the vacancy is filled. Appointments will be made at a regular meeting of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors. Any persons interested in serving on the Alpine County Historic Records Commission, needing more information or an application, may contact the Alpine County Clerk’s Office at 530-694- 2281.
