The constitutional requirements to be a registered voter are that a person must be a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony, and not determined by a court of law to be mentally incompetent. HOW TO FILE To become a candidate for the Central Committee, you may file Nomination papers and Declaration of Candidacy. 1) Nomination Paper is used in securing the number of signatures required to seek office. The nomination period is September 27, 2019 to December 6, 2019. The candidate must obtain nomination signatures by December 6, 2019. 2) Declaration of Candidacy documents must be filed November 12, 2019 to December 6, 2019 no later than 5:00 pm.
