This is a PCR test, indicating whether or not you are infected at that moment in time. - Testing is free - No residency requirements - A nurse will instruct you to obtain a nasal swab on yourself while you stay in your vehicle. - You can register in advance at or come without an appointment, and our staff will register you on site. - You will be sent your results in less than a week via e-mail. - Schedule: o Bear Valley – Mondays August 17 and 31, 10AM – 1:30 PM o Kirkwood – weekly on Wednesdays August 19, and 26, 11 AM - 3:30 PM o Woodfords – weekly on Thursdays August 20, and 27, 11 AM - 3 PM For those who have or are possible close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases: We are providing PCR testing through our Health Department Clinic in Woodfords. - If you believe that you qualify, call [PHONE REDACTED] M-F from 8-12 and 1-5. - Our staff will determine if you meet the requirements and schedule an appointment for testing. - You must be an Alpine County resident or connected in some way to Alpine County. (You or someone in your household works in Alpine County, or you are a contact of someone who lives or works here.) - Turn around time to obtain results is usually 48-72 hours.
