Use the Libby app for Library to Go 1. Download the Libby app. (Android: Google Play Store; iOS: App Store; Windows: Microsoft Store) Shortcuts to these apps are provided on our website 2. Link your library. Alpine County Library (Northnet Library Systems) this option will appear when you search for it. 3. Add your library card. Enter the entire number exactly as it appears on your library card. If you don’t’ have that information, just call the library and we can provide it over the phone. 4. Link your Kindle to Libby. If you have a Kindle Reader, or prefer to read in the Kindle app, choose “Yes, I Read With Kindle.” This option will appear on the main screen of the Libby app. 5. If using a Kindle complete checkout in your Amazon account. (An Amazon account is required for using Kindles or Kindle apps) If you are using Kindle, you will then be directed to your Amazon account to login. Choose which Kindle device you want your ebook delivered to and click the “checkout” button. 6. If you do not use Kindle, you can read your book directly in the Libby app. Simply press “borrow” then “open book,” and follow the navigation prompts. 7. Search. You can search for a specific title using the search box at the top of the screen. Or, you can browse featured titles & subject areas. ***note: Some titles may have waiting lists. In this case, you can place a hold. Up to 9 holds are allowed.
