ADDENDUM REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ALPINE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARMENT ALPINE COUNTY WILDLAND FIRE RISK MITIGATION PLAN August 2, 2019 The Alpine County Community Development Department hereby issues this Addendum No. 1 to the above referenced Request for Proposals. All proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of all RFP addenda in the Letter of Transmittal that is required to be submitted with the proposal. Addendum Items 1. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TEAM - ITEMS 1 AND 2: Consideration will be given to substituting a combination of professional certifications, demonstrated experience and expertise that are deemed by the County to be equivalent with the stated requirement for a professional degree. 2. METHODOLOGY/APPROACH TO THE WORK – ITEM 3: It is understood by the County that the cost of completing environmental documents pursuant to CEQA and NEPA can be unpredictable. This can pose difficulty for the consultant in determining budget when the projects are not known at the time of submitting a proposal. The selection of the top priority fuels reduction projects for detailed planning will be a collaborative decision involving the consultant team and the steering committee. The decision will take in to account the scale of the projects and the expected environmental issues to be addressed. Projects selected will have to be matched to the available budget and time constraints of the grant. 3. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: The deadline for submittal of proposals is extended to 4:00 p.m. Pacific time, August 16, 2019.
